    RSI (Relative Strength Index)

    A 0–100 oscillator measuring how one-sided recent price changes have been. Above 70 is often called overbought, below 30 oversold.

    A rolling average of price that smooths noise. The relationship between price and its averages describes trend posture.

    Momentum

    The tendency for recent relative performance to persist. Measured as rate of change over multiple lookbacks.

    Volatility

    How widely returns are dispersed. High volatility means larger typical moves in both directions, not a direction.

    Market sentiment

    The aggregate tone of news, positioning and flow around a name — how the crowd is currently framing it.

    Drawdown

    The peak-to-trough decline of a position or portfolio, and the single most useful measure of how a strategy actually felt to hold.
